Understanding People, Crafting Solutions ✦
Creating inclusive digital experiences where fashion, technology, and cultural sensitivity converge to empower diverse communities.
Growing up, my first encounter with intentional design came through the harmonious layout of a family friend's Mexican casa-style home. The way spaces flowed together, creating an immersive and functional experience, opened my eyes to design's power in shaping human interaction. This early revelation would later influence my approach to digital interfaces, where I discovered that thoughtful design could create equally meaningful connections in the virtual world.
My journey at the intersection of design and human behavior is anchored in a dual background in Cognitive Science and Psychology from UC Merced. This foundation, combined with my passion for fashion technology, drives my mission to create inclusive digital experiences that respect and celebrate cultural diversity. As an aspiring UI Designer and UX Researcher, I bring a unique perspective to the rapidly evolving fashion industry, where innovations like AR and AI are transforming how we engage with style and self-expression.
Looking ahead, I'm pursuing a master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction and Design to further my expertise in creating intuitive, culturally-sensitive digital solutions. My commitment extends beyond the screen – whether I'm mentoring design students, organizing cultural book clubs, or volunteering at tech workshops, I strive to foster belonging and understanding across communities. In an industry being reshaped by technology, I aim to ensure that these innovations not only advance functionality but also empower diverse consumer experiences, making fashion technology more accessible and engaging for users worldwide.
